Falling Leaf Moon
The Falling Leaf Moon is the time of year for hunting Deer, which in certain parts of the country is most people’s only chance for meat to carry them through the long, cold winter months. It can also be referred to as “The Moon When Salmon Returns to the Earth – referring to a time when Salmon was abundant and a plentiful catch was almost always guaranteed.
